Cim d'Àligues
The "Cim d'àligues" (Eagle's pick) in the outskirts of Sant Feliu, is a unique centre, first of this kind in the whole Spanish State. Two main activities can be enjoyed during a visit to Cim d'Àligues: Guided visit to the birds' area. The birds are accommodated in cages suitable for their different needs and sizes. During the visit, they explain general concepts about these birds (diet, behaviour, whether they are native, etc); the visitors will see how the solitary nature of some of the birds make necessary for them to have their own space, not shared with other birds, even of the same species. Flight exhibition However, the best occasion to clearly see the different characteristics of each bird, is during the free-flight exhibition. The experience of watching them flying very near allows a good knowledge of this animals. While watching the birds fly in the zone of the amphitheatre, there are explanations of the difference between species. The hawk's fast flights, the eagle's imposing glide, the barn-owl's silent flight, are some of the things that you will see at the "Cim de àligues".
